When Designing a New Kitchen, Make Sure To Incorporate Technology Into Your Design…

In this age of ever-progressing convenience, we’ve become accustomed to having an abundance of knowledge at our fingertips. And knowledge is power, but so is technology—the driving force behind this thought revolution. It only makes sense that we’ve incorporated technology advancements in our kitchens too. You’ll be amazed at all the ways these high-tech installations revolutionize the functionality of your home. these are our favorite ways to create a smart kitchen that really does feel smart.

Google Home/Alexa

Have you ever been baking in the kitchen and needed to know the conversion for the right measure? Maybe you had to stop what you’re doing, wash your hands, and type in a search for the answer. While having it all at your fingertips is helpful, with voice-controlled technology there’s no need to lose any more cookie dough. With devices like Alexa and Google Home, you can set multiple times, quickly access recipes, and even have recipes read to you. Plus stet ou a podcast and create a kitchen playlist so you can enjoy your favorite tunes while you work.

Touch Activated Faucets

As its name suggests, the touchless kitchen faucet applies the motion sensor technology to activate the water flow. The faucet often features one or two sensors on the bottom, top, or spout which houses fiber optic cables to connect the spout to the sensor. By waving to the sensor, the faucet will start automatically. Put your hand away and the flow will stop. More excitingly, the design of most touchless faucets is stylish and elegant to fit all kitchen styles, from classic to modern. This may be the most practical of all the kitchen technology inventions. It is perfect for those moments when your hands are messy and you don’t want to make a bigger mess trying to get clean.

Charging Stations

When you have a family you have many devices that need charging. Free up counter space plus ensure your devices stay fully charged by moving phones, tablets, and cameras to a built-in charging station hidden in a drawer.

Hidden Screens

There’s no denying the fact that many folks simply must have a TV in the kitchen. So maybe you can at least consider some acceptable options for how to design a TV in the most popular room in the house, the kitchen. Small televisions screens or tablets can help with meal prep or provide entertainment. You can designate shelving area or get creative by hiding a screen inside a cabinet-just remember to plan for a cable hookup and a place to hide wires.

Kitchen Appliances With Tech

How would you like to cook your dinner from your desk and have a hot meal waiting for you when you get home? Sounds pretty good, and it can easily be a reality for anyone with a smart oven or slow cooker. If you want to take kitchen technology to the max, opt for a refrigerator with a touchscreen and the ability to stream music and a stove you can control from your smartphone. A trashcan you can open with the wave of the hand. Or a smart scale that transmits food weight and nutritional information to the Escali SmartConnect app on your phone Just remember High Tech comes with a higher price tag and more repairs and quicker replacement. While you might not need high-tech appliances they sure are fun and helpful.
